Lima Arrival

A representative will greet you at the airport and transport you to your Lima hotel.

DAY 2

Half Day Excursion Must See In Lima (b)

After breakfast your tour to Lima will start.

Observe a Pre-Colombian archaeological site, Huaca Huallamarca, in the middle of the residential area.

Visit the Larco Museum, the best Precolombian art private collection in Peru.

Try mousse made of “lucuma”, a Peruvian endemic fruite at the Cafe del Museo.

Observe the Change of Guards Visit Convent of Santo Domingo, one of the best preserved from the colonial times and climb its tower, to have a great view of the city.

Walk the Historic Downtown of Lima (Unesco site), walk through its most important streets to observe its architecture, monuments, etc.

DAY 3

Cusco Arrival + City Tour (b)

After breakfast at your hotel, a representative will transport you to the airport for your flight to Cusco.

Upon your arrival to Cusco, a representative will greet you and transport you to your hotel.

Sacred Valley Tour + Train To Aguas Calientes (b,l)

At approx. 08:00 a.m.(full day tour), a GOTOPERU representative will pick you up for a short bus ride to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Be sure to have your camera ready to capture the lush Andean landscapes and the traditional villages that dot the hillside!.

Pisac Visit This small town with its exquisite architecture is the perfect place to purchase authentic Andean souvenirs. As you browse through the selection of traditional clothing and crafts, you will easily understand why Pisac’s market has a reputation all its own.

Tour of Ollantaytambo This Incan site began as a palace, but was eventually used in the last Incan stand against the invading Spanish conquistadors. Whether palace or fortress, these ruins offer an unforgettable view of the surrounding area.

Transfer and Evening at Leisure After an exciting day of archaeological exploration, you will catch the 7p.m. train to Aguas Calientes. Upon your arrival, a representative will greet you and escort you to your hotel.

Machu Picchu Tour +hot Springs (b)

After an early breakfast at your hotel, a representative will pick you up and escort you to the bus station to go for a short 20-minute bus ride to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Machu Picchu.

  • Insight into the construction history of Machu Picchu.
  • Information on Hiram Bingham’s discovery of this sacred site in 1911.

Train Back To Cusco + Maras Moray Excursion

After an early breakfast at your hotel, train back to Ollantaytambo. Then once arrival to the train station our personal will escort you to your guide tour to Maras & Moray.

Salt Mines of Maras

Famous salt mines that have been used since Incan times for trade and nourishment.

Return to Cusco

Trip Notes: The salt mines of Maras have been used for centuries to harvest this valuable mineral from the mountainside. The collection of 2000 small, shallow pools of water is communally operated and open to the public. The water is regularly drained from the pools so that the salt can crystallize for a few days before being harvested and eventually distributed for use or sale.

DAY 7

Free Day Cusco + Dinner Show (b,d)

Free day at Cusco to explore the city.

At night a welcome dinner with a dance show.

DAY 8

Sun Road Tour Cusco To Puno (b,l)

  • Depart Cusco (7:00 am). You will travel to Puno by bus.
  • Andahuaylillas, a town that is home to the Sistene Chapel of America, a colonial church noted for its sixteenth and seventeenth century murals.
  • Raqchi (Wiracocha Temple), an Incan archaeological site showcasing typical terraces, public baths, and aqueduct systems.
  • Buffet lunch at small town of Sicuani, where you will enjoy Novo Andina cuisine, a pairing of meats with traditional grains and produce.
  • La Raya, situated on a highland plateau (4313m or 14,147 ft.), the border town between Cusco and Puno.
  • Pukara, noted for its great pyramid built by the first developed civilization in the region.
  • You will arrive to Puno around 5 p.m..
  • Night in Puno.
DAY 9

Lake Titicaca & Islands Tour (b,l)

Breakfast And Transfer After an early breakfast at your Puno hotel, your professional tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin the full-day tour of Lake Titicaca and nearby islands.

  • Arrive on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world.
  • Boat excursion to the Uros Floating Islands, a collection of man-made islands constructed from floating bundles of reeds.
