DAY 1

Cusco Arrival

Once arrival to Cusco An authorized representative will greet you at the airport and transport you to your selected Cusco hotel.

Afternoon at Leisure The rest of the day is yours to enjoy this city and discover why  it is such a vital part of tourism in Peru. Be sure to explore the many restaurants and nightlife offered in the city’s main square, the Plaza de Armas.

DAY 2

Cusco City Tour (b)

Breakfast and Morning at Leisure After breakfast at your hotel, the morning is yours to discover why Cusco is such a vital part of tourism in Peru. Recommended places to visit include the San Pedro Market, Museum of Pre-Colombian Art, and the Choco Museum, where you can handcraft your own tasty treat.

Early Afternoon:  Guided Tour of Cusco and Surroundings

Highlights:
•    Historical capital of Peru
•    Incan and Spanish Colonial architecture
•    Cathedral of Santo Domingo, a Baroque church built on the ruins of the opulent Incan Koricancha Palace (Temple of the Sun)
•    Incan holy place of Q’enko, an amphitheater once used for ceremonial sacrifices
•    Incan monument of Tambomachay, ceremonial site of water worship
•    Sacsayhuaman, an Incan fortress and site of the IntiRaymi (Fiesta del Sol), most notable for its hand-carved stones up to 9m tall and weighing over 350 tons
•    Incan tambo (travelers’ rest stop) of PukaPukara
Late Afternoon/Evening at Leisure: Suggested Activities
•    Browse the markets for an alpaca wool sweater
•    Meet the local people and savor the local dishes in one of Cusco’s many restaurants and cafes.

DAY 3

Sacred Valley Tour

Get ready to witness the majestic Sacred Valley!  After breakfast in your hotel, a GOTOPERU representative will greet you and pick you up for a scenic bus ride through the Andean landscape to the Sacred Valley (El Valle Sagrado).
Trip highlights include:
•    Tour through Pisac, a small town rich with Incan architecture and culture.  Be sure to stop by the artisan market to view and purchase unique souvenirs.
•    Visit to Ollantaytambo, a town and Incan archaeological site that once was the estate of Emperor Pachacutec.  During the Spanish Conquest, it served as a fortress for Manco Inca Yupanqui.
OPTIONS
A: Train and Overnight to Machu Picchu ( Included in the Price )  After your tour to Ollantaytambo fortress you will have a couple of hours extra to enjoy this small inca town before taking a 1.5hrs train to MachuPicchu Town where a representative will welcome you and transfer you to your confirmed hotel.

B: Overnight at Sacred Valley :  you will be transfer to your comfortable hotel surrounded by spectacular landscapes in the Sacred Valley.

C: Return to Cusco : After Ollantaytambo you will enjoy a tour through Chinchero, an Andean village with Incan ruins and a colonial church that produces extraordinary textiles, woven with ancestral tools. After a visit to the Textile Market you will be transfer to your hotel in Cusco later in the afternoon.

DAY 4

Machu Picchu Tour

Tour of Machu Picchu, the ancient Inca site with captivating architecture, scenic views and stone structures that defy modern engineering.
A 2.5-3 hours history lesson of Machu Picchu given by a regional expert who will focus on major historic sites including the Sun Temple, Sun Stone and Room of the Three Windows.
After your tour, you have the option to explore more of MachuPicchu on your own with once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunities to capture you in one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Free time to enjoy the natural hot springs of Aguas Calientes known for its healing powers.
A late afternoon train will take you back to your hotel in Cusco.

DAY 5

Cusco To Puno

Your GOTOPERU representative will have you leaving Cusco at 7:30 to embark on your journey to Puno.
Trip highlights include:
•    Visit to San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, Sistine Chapel of America.
•    A tour of Raqchi, an archaeological site with public baths, a large aqua duct system and stone terraces.
•    A buffet style lunch break in Sicuani Village.
•    A chance to explore La Raya, the border town between Cusco and Puno.
•    Tour the Pukara Archaeological Site featuring a large pyramid and museum.
You will end your day at a hotel in Puno.

DAY 6

Lake Titicaca & Islands Tour

Your day will begin with a 20 minute boat cruise to the Uros Floating Islands.
Trip highlights include:
•    Tour of the Uros Islands to experience the simple life of the local people.
•    Visit to Taquile Island to get a rare glimpse into Peruvian indigenous culture.
•    Lunch in the town of Luquina.
A boat will take you back to Puno where you can use the rest of the day to shop, tour or rest.

DAY 7

Puno To Lima

You will have your private transportation taking you to the airport Juliaca-Lima arrival
Arrival and Transfer A representative will greet you at the airport and escort you to you respected Lima hotel, where you will have the rest of the day to rest.

DAY 8

Full Day Nazca Overflight From Ica + Huacachina

Early in the morning your day of adventure will star will a bus taking you directly to Ica (3 hours 30 min drive time) you will have breakfast on board.  Once arrival to Ica your Plane will be waiting for an over flight of Nazca Lines (1Hour 10min):
Around 500 BC, the construction of the lines probably began, and then continued up to 500 A.D., having it declared as another World Heritage Site. For almost half a century, the Nazca Lines has been critically studied and still researchers find it perplexing.
Although many vibrant theories bounding the Nazca Lines, many scientists believe that these lines had some astronomical service for the Nazca people. You will see famous glyphs such as the condor, the hummingbird, and the monkey.
Bus depart to Lima

DAY 9

Transfer Out
