Welcome to Cusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire and one of the most iconic cities in the world. We will be waiting for your arrival at the Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport and then transfer you to your hotel in the city of Cusco.

¡This is the day you've been looking forward to! We pick you up at your hotel early in the morning and drive you to Ollantaytambo Train Station. After leaving Ollantaytambo, your train enters the narrow Vilcanota River canyon. Each side of the steep canyon walls is covered in lush subtropical jungle. Look carefully across the river for the Inca terraces, some of which are still farmed today!

When you arrive in Aguas Calientes, your guide will meet you at the train station, and you will have some free time before taking the shuttle up to Machu Picchu. Be ready to visit the Citadel of Machu Picchu. Very early in the morning, our representative will pick you up from your hotel to escort you to the Aguas Calientes Bus Station for a 30-minute bus ride to the Citadel of Machu Picchu, where you will have a private guided tour of the citadel. During your tour, you will be able to visit historical places located in the Citadel of Machu Picchu, like the Sun Stone, Sun Temple, and the Room of the Three Windows. After your tour finishes, you will have some free time to explore Aguas Calientes, buy some local artesanias, and enjoy an amazing view of Machu Picchu town. Late in the afternoon, you will board the train from Aguas Calientes Train Station to Ollantaytambo Train Station, where a vehicle will be ready to take you back to your hotel in Cusco.
