This thoughtfully paced journey combines Peru’s natural splendor and cultural treasures with comfort and ease. From Lima’s vibrant history to the gentle rhythms of an Amazon retreat, the path leads through the Sacred Valley and the wonder of Machu Picchu, ending with Cusco’s timeless charm and serene Andean landscapes.

Itinerary

Day 1: Lima arrival

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in one of Lima’s modern districts. Along the journey, discover a city of contrasts: colonial façades, bustling avenues, and skyline views meeting the sea. The remainder of the day is free to explore nearby parks, admire architecture, or take in the vibrant spirit of a capital where cultures merge, and stories unfold at every corner, your Peruvian journey begins with urban rhythm and coastal charm.

Day 2: Lima experience tour & the magic water circuit

Start your journey southbound to Pachacamac, a pre-Inca ceremonial site with ocean views. Enjoy lunch in Barranco, followed by a walk through its artistic, bohemian streets. Continue to downtown Lima to admire colonial architecture and visit the San Francisco Convent. In the evening, discover the Magic Water Circuit Park, where illuminated fountains come to life during a light and music show, offering a perfect end to a day full of contrasts and cultural discoveries.

Day 3: Amazon experience 3d/2n - day 1

The journey begins in Puerto Maldonado with a 25-minute boat ride to Hacienda Concepción lodge. A guided walk along the Trail System introduces the wonders of the rainforest and its unique biodiversity. At nightfall, the Twilight River excursion offers an unforgettable experience: navigating beneath a starry sky, surrounded by the symphony of nocturnal wildlife, creating an authentic and magical first encounter with the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.

Day 4: Amazon experience 3d/2n - day 2

The second day provides a deep immersion into Amazonian biodiversity. A jungle walk leads to Lake Sandoval, home to monkeys, giant otters, and tropical birds. Later, the Canopy Walkway offers a unique chance to explore the rainforest canopy from elevated bridges with spectacular views. Finally, the Hidden Forest excursion transforms the experience: a nighttime walk that unveils a different, vibrant, and mysterious side of the jungle that only awakens under the stars.

Day 5: Amazon experience 3d/2n - day 3 & flight to cusco

The third day marks the conclusion of this Amazonian journey. After a breakfast surrounded by the sounds of the forest, the return begins with a boat ride to Puerto Maldonado, followed by a bus transfer to the airport. Though brief, the stay leaves unforgettable memories: river reflections, endless landscapes, and the jungle’s magic accompanying travelers even beyond the trip. An authentic experience that deeply connects with nature’s essence.

Day 6: Sacred valley & overnight in aguas calientes

Visit the highlights of the Sacred Valley, including Pisac’s ruins and market, and the fortress of Ollantaytambo. Then board a scenic train to Aguas Calientes, gateway to Machu Picchu. This immersive day tour blends Inca history, vibrant traditions, and breathtaking landscapes. Spend the night in Aguas Calientes, setting the perfect pace for an early start to explore one of the world’s most iconic archaeological sites. Ideal for travelers seeking culture, comfort, and adventure.

Day 7: Machu picchu tour & return to cusco

Take the bus to the Inca citadel and embark on a guided tour through Machu Picchu’s iconic temples, terraces, and sacred corners. Learn about its historical significance while enjoying stunning views. After the visit, return to Aguas Calientes and spend some free time. Then board the train back and continue to Cusco. This full-day experience blends history, culture, and nature into one unforgettable adventure through one of Peru’s most treasured landmarks.

Day 8: Cusco city tour & 4 archaeological sites

This tour blends the charm of Cusco’s historic center with the grandeur of its Inca heritage. Start at the Cathedral and Qoricancha Temple, then visit four amazing archaeological sites: Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay. Experience breathtaking landscapes, massive stonework, and a living connection to ancient civilization. A perfect introduction to the spiritual and architectural heart of the Andes.

Day 9: Palcoyo mountain

Palcoyo offers a stunning alternative to the classic Rainbow Mountain. Located south of Cusco, this destination features three colorful mountains and the mystical Stone Forest, all accessible via a gentle hike. Unlike Vinicunca, it’s ideal for families or those preferring a less demanding trek. You’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Andean valleys, glaciers, and vibrant geological formations. A perfect combination of beauty, ease, and unforgettable landscapes makes this one of Cusco’s hidden treasures.

Day 10: Departure from cusco

Today marks the end of your journey through Cusco. You will be transferred to the airport, with time to reflect on the magic this city has offered. With its ancient energy, vibrant culture, and stunning landscapes, Cusco leaves an everlasting impression. This farewell marks the conclusion of an unforgettable adventure through the most authentic Peru. Until next time, sacred city of the Andes!
