Itinerary

Day 1: Lima arrival

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel in one of Lima’s modern districts. The remainder of the day is free to explore nearby parks, admire architecture, or take in the vibrant spirit of a capital where cultures merge, and stories unfold at every corner, your Peruvian journey begins with urban rhythm and coastal charm.

Day 2: Gastronomic experience in lima

Begin your day in a local market where your guide introduces essential Peruvian fruits and spices. Visit a traditional fishing spot to learn about seafood practices. Then, join a chef to prepare causa, ceviche, and pisco sour, step by step. The experience ends in Chorrillos, with beautiful views of the ocean. This tour combines participation, cultural immersion, and authentic flavors in a hands-on journey through Peru’s most iconic dishes and culinary heritage.

Day 3: Flight to cusco

Today you’ll head to Cusco, the historic heart of the Inca Empire and gateway to the Sacred Valley. You will be taken to the airport and warmly received upon arrival. Cobblestone streets, colonial charm, and living Andean culture await you. Cusco is a magical blend of past and present, offering travelers an authentic connection to Peru’s rich heritage and unforgettable mountain scenery.

Day 4: Sacred valley, pachamanca & overnight in aguas calientes

The Sacred Valley unfolds with mountain views, agricultural terraces, and villages that preserve living traditions. At midday, the highlight is the pachamanca, an ancestral culinary ritual where hot stones cook food underground, honoring the bond with the earth. Later, the journey continues to Aguas Calientes, a village nestled between mountains and rivers. The evening provides rest in a unique natural setting, offering tranquility and anticipation for upcoming experiences in this extraordinary Andean destination.

Day 5: Machu picchu tour & return to cusco

Take the bus to the Inca citadel and embark on a guided tour through Machu Picchu’s iconic temples, terraces, and sacred corners. Learn about its historical significance while enjoying stunning views. After the visit, return to Aguas Calientes and spend some free time. Then board the train back and continue to Cusco. Day 6: A taste of the andes, misminay, maras & moray

This tour combines culture, landscapes, and living traditions of the Sacred Valley. In Maras, admire colonial houses and the famous salt mines, a striking scene of thousands of sparkling pools. Later, in Misminay, the community greets with warmth and serves a typical lunch made with local ingredients. From Moray viewpoint, enjoy panoramic views of the Inca terraces. Day 7: Coffee & cacao experience - day 1

The journey begins at Julia’s farm in Huayopata, reached after traveling from Cusco. Be welcomed with fresh fruit juices and a traditional regional lunch. In the afternoon, explore plantations of fruits, coffee, and tea, taking part in the process of harvesting, roasting, and grinding coffee beans. Share authentic moments with the host family, learning ancestral techniques. The day ends with a homemade dinner and an overnight stay in comfortable rural rooms, surrounded by the tranquility of nature.

Day 8: Coffee & cacao experience - day 2

The experience continues with a homemade breakfast and activities focused on cacao. Learn to recognize the tree and its fruit while discovering the entire process of harvesting, fermenting, and drying the beans. Then, observe roasting and grinding to create artisanal hot chocolate using fresh cacao from the farm. Between moments of cultural sharing with the local family and a traditional lunch, farewell Huayopata and return to Cusco, carrying cherished memories of authentic flavors and Andean traditions.

Day 9: Walking tour & 5-course tasting at map café

Discover Cusco on foot with a guided tour that blends history, culture, and gastronomy. Begin at Qoricancha, the most important Inca temple, renowned for its masterful stone walls. Next, explore the vibrant San Pedro Market, filled with colors, aromas, and local traditions. The walk continues to Cusco’s majestic Cathedral, home to remarkable colonial treasures. To conclude, indulge in a five-course dinner at MAP Café, a contemporary restaurant that reinterprets Peruvian flavors with creativity, sophistication, and a truly memorable culinary touch.

Day 10: Departure from cusco

Today marks the end of your journey through Cusco. You will be transferred to the airport, with time to reflect on the magic this city has offered.
