In the afternoon, you will visit the famous Salt Mines of Maras. Hundreds of salt pools cascade down the mountainside, creating one of the most unique landscapes in Peru. Moray Archaeological Site
Next, explore Moray, an extraordinary archaeological complex composed of circular agricultural terraces built into natural depressions in the earth. Historians believe this site functioned as an agricultural experimentation center where the Incas studied different microclimates to improve crop production.
Ollantaytambo
The final stop is the magnificent fortress and living Inca town of Ollantaytambo. Here, you will discover impressive stone architecture, ceremonial temples, ancient water channels, agricultural terraces, and panoramic views of the surrounding valley. This site played a significant role in Inca history and remains one of the best-preserved examples of Inca urban planning.
